The trend of shifting production from China to third countries to avoid tariffs, foreign direct investment into Vietnam, increased investment in the form of mergers and acquisitions and shifting production structure to high-growth industries. The article also discusses the opportunities and challenges that Vietnam may face in the situation of long-term trade tension between the United States and China. From there, the article has offered some useful advice for governments and enterprises to develop their economies before the effects of this war.
