Contemporary society is facing a significant problem of population aging. The increase in the elderly population has brought many challenges, especially in the field of elderly care. my country became an aging society in 1993, transitioned to a senior-aged society in 2018, and is estimated to enter a super-aged society in 2025. The proportion of the elderly population in the total population will continue to increase, and is expected to exceed 30% in 2039 and reach 43.6% in 2070. With the advancement of medical technology and the extension of life span, improving the quality of life of the elderly has become an important issue. As the aging of the population continues to deepen, the development of innovative elderly care solutions is crucial to improving the quality of life of the elderly, and traditional The long-term care model faces dual pressures of resource limitations and effectiveness limitations, and innovative solutions are urgently needed to address these challenges. Traditional elderly care methods mainly rely on nursing and medical care. However, traditional elderly care methods often lack interest and activity, which may lead to social isolation and decreased reaction time of the elderly. In addition, more and more studies have shown that digital games, especially serious games, provide a new intervention method that can not only enhance the physical and cognitive functions of the elderly, but also improve their quality of life, and today's people As electronic products and the Internet become increasingly inseparable, the number of middle-aged and elderly people playing games will increase over time. Therefore, electronic games can be used to provide innovative elderly care solutions. The purpose of this study is to explore the use of Unity2D games to develop serious games for the elderly, evaluate the effect of these games on improving the elderly's reaction, memory and cognitive abilities, and the potential for practical application of these games in elderly care facilities. In recent years, digital games, as a non-pharmacological intervention, have shown their potential in improving the cognitive and physical abilities of the elderly. Three corresponding games were developed for the elderly to test, and the results of all testers were integrated. Test data, analyze the effectiveness of the three games based on pre- and post-comparison test times, and integrate testers’ feedback. |
