在當今商業領域的競爭環境正變得愈發激烈和複雜的背景下,企業必須不斷調整自己以適應經濟和技術的迅猛發展,針對該要求本研究探討了影響EMBA在職進修學生決策的動機和行為意圖,其主要目的是為了瞭解並分析在不同的背景下各相關變數對學生的決定是否產生影響;以及探討他們的選擇行為對於實際就讀所感官情況。本研究是在動機理論下,引入知覺價值作為仲介,來探討影響EMBA在職進修的決定因素之動機與行為意圖。有別於傳統上的共變數為基礎的結構方程模型(Covariance-Based Structural Equation Models,CB-SEM),我們採用了偏最小平方法(PLS-SEM)來分析,以應對樣本資料有限的問題。本研究還增加中國大陸對於EMBA的看法,因此均通過線上問卷調查,我們收集了421份資料,實質性問卷為382份,有效百分比率為90%。研究發現主要結果如下:在知覺價值仲介變數下,同僚支持、內在動機和外在動機對於行為意圖皆有顯著正向相關影響,其中內在動機的影響力顯著大於同僚支持和外在動機。最後,希望藉由此研究問卷調查結果,為以後想繼續深入瞭解兩岸EMBA學生的想法做鋪墊希望可以為以後的學者們做參考;還可以更好地促進兩岸EMBA課程的設計。
英文摘要
In today's competitive environment in the business world, which is becoming increasingly fierce and complex, companies must constantly adjust themselves to adapt to the rapid development of economy and technology. In response to this requirement, this study explores the motivations and behaviors that influence the decision-making of EMBA on-the-job training students. The main purpose is to understand and analyze whether relevant variables have an impact on students' decisions in different contexts; and to explore the impact of their choice behavior on the actual situation of attending school. This study is based on the motivation theory and introduces perceived value as a mediating variable to explore the motivation and behavioral intentions that are the determinants of EMBA on-the-job training. Different from the traditional covariance-based structural equation models (CB-SEM), we adopted the partial least squares method (PLS-SEM) for analysis to cope with the problem of limited sample data. This study also increases mainland China’s views on EMBA, so we conducted online questionnaire surveys. We collected 421 pieces of information, of which 382 were substantive questionnaires, with an effective percentage of 90%. The main results of the study are as follows: Under the mediating variable of perceived value, peer support, intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation all have a significant positive impact on behavioral intention, among which the influence of intrinsic motivation is significantly greater than peer support and extrinsic motivation. Finally, I hope that the results of this research questionnaire will pave the way for further understanding of the thoughts of EMBA students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. I hope it can serve as a reference for future scholars and can also better promote the design of cross-Strait EMBA courses.
