莊子(369-286 B.C.)是中國哲學史上第一位提出「物化」概念的思想家。物化是指萬物的自我變化。雖然，物化一詞僅出現在《莊子．齊物論》的莊周夢蝶的寓言之中，但它的概念卻貫穿了《莊子》內七篇。因此，本文以「莊子的物化」作為研究主題，並且以吉爾．德勒茲(Gilles Louis René Deleuze, 1925-1995)、菲利克斯．加塔利(Pierre-Félix Guattari, 1930-1992)、尼采(Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche, 1844-1900)、盧克萊修(Titus Lucretius Carus, 99-55 B.C.)等西方思想家的概念，與《莊子》內七篇進行會通。
  《莊子》一書雖然有三十三個篇章，但其內七篇為莊子本人所著的可能性較高，故而在參考文獻上，本文以《莊子》內七篇為主要研究對象，其他外、雜篇僅為作為參考。《莊子》原文方面，則以郭慶藩(1844-1896)的《莊子集釋》為準。此外，本文的論述不會離開《莊子》和西方哲學的範疇，去探討文獻考據，以及西方哲學在其他學科內的應用。論述過程上，本文逐一對《莊子》內七篇進行概念分析，最後針對莊子的物化與西方哲學的關聯進行總體之論。

  Zhuang Zhou (369-286 B.C.), commonly known as Zhuangzi is the first thinker of Chinese Philosophy who proposed the idea of ''thinging ''. Although the word thinging only appears in Zhuang Zhou's Dream of the Butterfly under ''Zhuangzi's Equality of Things''，its concept runs through the seven chapters of Zhuangzi. Hence, this article refers to Zhuangzi's thinging as the research topic . Besides, the ideology of Gilles Louis René Deleuze (1925-1995), Pierre-Félix Guattari (1930-1992), Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (1844-1900), Titus Lucretius Carus (99-55 B.C.) and other Western thinkers will combine with seven chapters's Zhuangzi in this thesis. 
  In spite of Zhuangzi has thirty-three chapters, the reason for taking the seven chapters in Zhuangzi as the main research objects is that it is highly possible seven of them are writed by himself, other extras are for reference only. Zhuangzi's original text is subject to Zhuangzi Collected Commentary of Guo Qing Fan(1844-1896). In addition, the discussion in this article will not depart from the category of Zhuangzi and Western philosophy to explore literature research and the application of Western Philosophy to other disciplines. In the process, this article will analyze the seven chapters of Zhuangzi one by one . Last but not least, the paper will collect the conect between Zhuangzi's thinging and Western philosophy general theory.
