  近年來,企業對ESG聲譽的重視日益增加。面對全球暖化、COVID-19以及國際衝突等議題,保護環境和尊重人民利益的原則正在引發重大社會變革,隨著資訊透明度的提高和社交媒體的普及,企業的ESG形象和行為更容易受到公眾和投資者的關注和評價,它們會直接影響企業的聲譽和組織績效,企業逐漸意識到良好的ESG聲譽對提升企業信譽及市場地位重要性,企業ESG聲譽能提升消費者、投資者和員工對企業的認同感和信任度,進而提升企業的市場競爭力和組織績效。
  本研究針對《天下雜誌》2023年「天下永續公民獎」100強榜單排名去探討企業ESG聲譽與組織績效的關係;另外,本研究還對未入選排名榜單企業進行實證調查,並透過實證調查數據,去探討未入榜企業ESG聲譽組織績效(股東權益報酬率及市值成長)與「天下永續公民獎」的排名是否存在差異性。
  本研究透過2023「天下永續公民獎」100強榜單選擇與未入榜企業組織績效進行實證調查,挑選樣本時採用投資人評估企業時使用的每股盈餘(EPS)作為篩選標準,挑選 EPS 相近之未上榜企業作為企業ESG聲譽高低之對照組透過組織績效分析表高低來衡量企業ESG聲譽,並驗證兩者是否存在差異性及企業ESG聲譽的高低與組織績效之間的關聯性。本研究經統計分析結果有下列重要發現:
P1:「100強榜單之ESG聲譽」與組織績效(市值成長)有正向關係。
P2:「實證調查之ESG聲譽組織績效(市值成長)」與「天下永續公民獎」的排名不一樣。
英文摘要
  In recent years, there has been an increasing emphasis by businesses on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reputation. Facing issues such as global warming, COVID-19, and international conflicts, principles of environmental protection and respect for people's interests are triggering significant social changes. With the rise in information transparency and the widespread use of social media, corporate ESG image and conduct are more susceptible to public and investor scrutiny and evaluation, directly impacting a company's reputation and organizational performance. Companies are gradually realizing the importance of a strong ESG reputation in enhancing corporate credibility and market position. A robust ESG reputation can increase consumer, investor, and employee identification and trust in the company, improving market competitiveness and organizational performance.
  This study investigates the relationship between corporate ESG reputation and organizational performance by examining the 2023 "Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award" top 100 rankings. Additionally, this study conducts an empirical survey of companies that did not make the rankings, using empirical data to explore whether there are differences in ESG reputation and organizational performance (ROE and market value growth) between companies that were listed and those ranked in the "Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award."
  This study empirically investigates the organizational performance of companies listed in the 2023 "Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award" top 100 rankings and those not listed. For sample selection, earnings per share (EPS), used by investors to evaluate companies, was chosen as the screening criterion. Companies with similar EPS that were not listed were selected as a comparison group to analyze the differences in ESG reputation. Organizational performance was measured through performance analysis to verify whether there are differences between the two groups and to examine the correlation between the level of corporate ESG reputation and organizational performance. The statistical analysis results of this study revealed the following important findings:
P1: The ESG reputation within the top 100 rankings correlates positively with organizational performance (market value growth).
P2: The "ESG reputation and organizational performance (market value growth) from the empirical investigation" differs from the rankings of the "Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award."
