隨著虛擬貨幣的出現，現在在虛擬貨幣市場上越來越多不同的虛擬貨幣可供交易和買賣，同時也越來越多用戶、公司等開始投入這一市場。隨著金融科技的推波助瀾，虛擬貨幣此一行業越來越蓬勃發展，開始使各國中央銀行思考發行屬於國家的虛擬貨幣，也就是央行數位貨幣。不過，也有許多國家有各自的考量，因此仍有許多國家不考慮發行或是持觀望態度。然而，對於欲發行央行貨幣的國家，不論是在技術上、應用方面等，都是一項全新、極大的挑戰。
本文將透過文獻分析法，透過各種資料，研究目前在虛擬貨幣市場中較流通、大宗的虛擬貨幣：比特幣、以太幣、瑞波幣以及萊特幣。此外，因為虛擬貨幣的快速發展，使得各國中央銀行發行貨幣的功能相對以前弱化，因此，許多國家的中央銀行開始研究有關央行數位貨幣的發展以及技術。本文將研究已經開始在某些城市試驗數位人民幣的中國、視央行數位貨幣為一應急計畫的加拿大，和已經開始進行試點的瑞典的電子克朗，以及我國目前因應國際間央行數位貨幣潮流所做的工作，以了解目前央行數位貨幣的發展狀況。

With the advent of virtual currency, more and more different virtual currencies are available for trading in the virtual currency market, and more and more users, companies, etc. have begun to enter the market. With the promotion of financial technology, the virtual currency industry has become more and more prosperous, and central banks of various countries have begun to think about issuing virtual currency belonging to the country, that is, central bank digital currency. However, there are also many countries that have their own considerations, so there are still many countries that do not consider issuing or take a wait-and-see attitude. However, for countries that want to issue central bank currencies, whether in terms of technology or application, it is a new and great challenge.
This article will use the document analysis method and various data to study the more circulating and bulky virtual currencies in the virtual currency market: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin. In addition, due to the rapid development of virtual currencies, the functions of central banks in issuing currencies have weakened compared to before. Therefore, central banks in many countries have begun to study the development and technology of central bank digital currencies. This article will study China, which has begun to experiment with digital renminbi in certain cities, Canada, which regards the central bank’s digital currency as an emergency plan, and Sweden’s electronic krona, which has begun trials, as well as my country’s current efforts in response to the international central bank’s digital currency trend to understand the current development of central bank digital currencies.
