本技術報告說明在英業達企業實習所學之內容,包含企業集團介紹、對於韌體工程師一職的工作模式介紹、實習心得及對於動態平台與熱能框架(Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework, DPTF),溫控與效能的取捨之探討及實驗、測試並實裝的過程。實習中所學之韌體相關知識及專案開發累積的經驗、並著重於DPTF功能的分析及實用。DPTF是由Intel開發的架構,相比單純溫度限制,以動態的方式提供更高瓦數的電源,以達到在不突破溫度上限為前提下,盡可能提升調腦效能。
Abstract (in English)
This technical report descrips the experience learned in the Inventec Company internship, including introduction to Inventec Company, the work content of the firmware engineer, internship experience, and discussion on the choice between thermal control and performance using Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework. The process of experimentation, testing and realization. The firmware-related knowledge learned in the internship and the accumulated experience in project development, and focus on the analysis and practicality of DPTF functions. Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework is an architecture developed by Intel. Compared with stable temperature limit, it provides a higher wattage power in a dynamic way to achieve the premise when the upper temperature limit is not exceeded, and the brain adjustment performance is improved as much as possible.
