探討以地緣政治、權力平衡兩個角度下，俄羅斯如何從敘利亞內戰中，在中東地區與其他國家競爭及合作，並從中獲取其利益。 
  本文以新現實主義、地緣政治理論及權力平衡理論為研究架構，以蘇聯時期俄、敘兩國的關係演變，直至蘇聯解體之後，俄羅斯面對以地緣政治為目標的國家利益改變其原有的中東外交政策，進而影響原有中東區域的權力平衡。直至阿拉伯之春後，敘利亞內戰爆發，影響俄羅斯在中東地區原有的利益，與其相對合作的進程受到美國支持的反對派打壓，其主因可視為地緣政治的因素所影響；而敘利亞本身在中東地區的與他國及強權入侵之間的關係受到內戰影響，而後俄羅斯介入內戰所帶來權力平衡轉變的因素，及最後俄、敘兩國外交關係的轉變及俄羅斯的國家利益為何。

Exploring how Russia can compete and cooperate with other countries in the Middle East from the perspective of geopolitics and power balance, and obtain benefits from it.
   This thesis takes neo-realism; geopolitical theory and power balance theory as the research structure, and evolves the relationship between Russia and Syria during the Soviet period. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Russia changed its original national interests in the face of geopolitics. The foreign policy of the Middle East has in turn affected the balance of power in the former Middle East region. After the Arab Spring, the Syrian civil war broke out, affecting Russia’s original interests in the Middle East. The process of its relative cooperation was suppressed by the US-backed opposition. Its main cause could be seen as a geopolitical factor; Syria itself was in the Middle East. The relationship between the country and the invasion of power was affected by the civil war, and then Russia intervened in the factors of the balance of power brought about by the civil war, and finally the transformation of Russian-Syrian diplomatic relations and Russia's national interests.
