青光眼是導致失明的第二大眼疾原因，患者是否遵醫囑按時治療，特別是點眼藥，對青光眼的藥物治療效果甚為重要。本研究之目的在探討恐懼訴求、家庭支持、健康信念，及疾病嚴重程度等多項因素對青光眼患者點眼藥遵醫囑行為之影響。
研究方法採橫斷面調查，以問卷針對台北市四家教學醫院眼科門診之青光眼患者進行訪談，共得有效問卷167份。研究工具內容包括青光眼患者之家庭支持、健康信念與遵醫囑行為三種量表，並從病歷過錄疾病診斷、眼壓、視野與視神經相關內容，以及視力等資料。研究對象分為實驗組與對照組，兩組於門診就診時，皆先填寫相同內容之問卷，接著實驗組由同一名醫療專業人員透過海報訊息解說方式施予恐懼訴求，對照組則不給予恐懼訴求訊息。二週後以電話訪談方式就遵醫囑行為量表再次詢問實驗組與對照組。將資料利用SPSS軟體進行資料處理，進行t檢定、變異數分析及多元迴歸等統計方法分析之。
研究結果顯示：1.恐懼訴求之有無對遵醫囑行為具有顯著影響，接受恐懼訴求者有較好的遵醫囑行為；2.家庭支持對遵醫囑行為未達顯著影響；3.健康信念對遵醫囑行為具有顯著影響，健康信念較高者較多遵醫囑行為；4.眼壓控制越不佳者其遵醫囑行為越差。

Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness. It is very important for patients’ compliance in glaucoma drug therapy.  The purpose of this study is to analyze the compliance effect of factors such as fear appeals, family support, health belief, and severity of glaucoma status involved for the glaucoma patients.
The cross-sectional survey was used to recruit 167 glaucoma patients followed the out-patient-clinic of four teaching hospitals in Taipei.  Data was gatherd by means of interviewing and questionnaire.  The questionnaire was consisted of family support scale, health belief scale, compliance behaviors scale, and information including diagnosis, intraocular pressure, visual field, C/D ratio, and visual acuity from chart.  The patients were divided by random assignment into experiment group and control group.  After the two groups finished the same questionnaire, we gave experiment group fear appeals through a medical service specialist, but no fear information appeals to control group. The compliance scale was done again for two groups by telephone interview two weeks later.  T-test, ANOVA, and regression analysis were used through SPSS 10.0 for Window program to analyze the data collected.
The main findings of this study are as followings:
1. Fear appeals has significant influence on patients’ drug therapy compliance.  There is better compliance on subjects for fear appeals.
2. Family support has no significant influence on patients’ drug therapy compliance.
3. Health belief has significant influence on patients’ drug therapy compliance.  There is also better compliance on subjects with high health belief.
4. Considering patients’ glaucoma status, we have found that the better intraocular pressure controlled has the better drug therapy compliance.
