中國「走出去」政策推展至今，對非洲涉入已逾20年。中國在非洲的形象和觀感一直是許多研究機構關注和探討的對象。本研究以其他機構和學者的調查結果作為基礎，深入分析影響非洲對中國觀感的因素。這些觀感包括中國對受援國(尚比亞)的政策方針、中企投資及援助、勞資關係、移民和外派數量、軍事和醫療援助，以及文化、新聞傳播、社群媒體與經濟戰略工具等面向。本研究並透過臉書專頁進行社群媒體互動，作為對中國觀感的分析資料，和已有的研究互為參考。

Since the “Going Out” policy introduced by the People’s Republic of China in late 1990’s, PRC’s involvement in Africa has been over two decades. The studies of perceptions about China in Africa are a major topic for many research institutions. This thesis uses the survey results from several institutions to analyze aspects of the locals’ perceptions of Chinese involvement in Africa, including FDI by China’s state-run enterprises, labor relations, Chinese immigrants and expatriates, PLA’s military support and medical aid, influence from culture, media, social media, and economic statecrafts. This research complements some researches with a Facebook fan page, the followers’ interaction of which can be illustrative of Zambia’s perception of China.
