手機與網際網路可謂二十世紀對人類生活方式造成影響最大的兩個發明。手機發展至今已經成為人類最普遍使用的行動裝置，而手機的使用方式也從以前的純粹通話，演變到現在利用手機進行上網、收發郵件、聽音樂、照相等。雖然智慧型手機在學習方面已經有許多應用，但如何使用手機進行合作式學習以增進學習效果尚未有普遍的認知。
本研究探討行動式合作學習的理論架構，探討在無線網路普及的環境中如何有效的進行學習活動。本研究利用現在相當普及的Android手機系統平台實作行動式合作學習應用程式，讓使用者可以打破時空與地理位置的限制，利用無線網路環境以合作學習的方式隨時隨地進行英文字彙的學習，並藉由實際測驗調查結果驗證此學習理論之有效性。

The two inventions of Mobile phones and the Internet can be described as the greatest impacts on human life in twentieth century. Mobile phone has become the most widely used devices nowadays. The original purpose of cell phones was simply making calls, now it evolves into a kind of device which is capable of surfing the Internet, sending e-mail, listening to music, taking photos and so on. Although smart phones have been used in many learning applications, there is no common understanding about how to enhance learning effects with the assistance of cooperative learning.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the theoretical framework of active cooperative learning and find out how it can increase the effectiveness of mobile learning activities in wireless Internet environment. Android, the now popular and common platform system, is used to deliver mobile cooperative learning applications to the users and break the limitations of space and time for learning English vocabulary. Actual test results have verified the validness of this proposed learning scheme.
