This study aims to explore the mediating effect of social dominance orientation in the prediction of homonegativity caused by dark personalities (including narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and everyday sadism). Based on the literature discussion, this study uses " Short Dark Triad (SD3)", " Assessment of Sadistic Personality (ASP)", " Social Dominance Orientation-7 Scale (SDO7)", and " Modern Homonegativity Scale (MHS)" as research tools.
This study targets on people over 20 years old as participants. The total number of valid samples was 1129. All sample data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and R 4.0.2.
    Following were the research results:
1. Dark personalities positively predicted the tendency of social dominance orientation, dominance, and anti-egalitarianism.
2. Narcissism positively predicted the tendency of social dominance orientation but does not predict dominance and anti-egalitarianism.

3. Machiavellianism predicted the tendency of social dominance orientation. It also positively predicted dominance and negatively predicted anti-egalitarianism.
4. Psychopathy predicted social dominance orientation, dominance, and anti-egalitarianism.
5. Everyday sadism positively predicted social dominance orientation, dominance, and anti-egalitarianism.
6. Social dominance orientation, dominance, and anti-egalitarianism positively predicted homonegativity.
7. Social dominance orientation, dominance, and anti-egalitarianism have partial mediating effect between dark personalities and homonegativity.
8. There is no mediating effect between social dominance orientation, dominance, anti-egalitarianism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy and homonegativity.
9. Social dominance orientation, dominance, and anti-egalitarianism have partial mediating effect between everyday sadism and homonegativity.
According to the research results mentioned, this study attempts to provide further directions for consultation and future studies.
