自二次大戰戰後美日同盟逐漸成為對印太地區的安全環境的重要安全角色。因中國崛起之故，印太區域開始出現中國對立美日同盟的局面。印太地區的安全環境似出現不同以往的發展，周遭環境之變遷速度也較往常來的更快、台灣身處在這樣的環境下需比以往要更加地來的謹慎。因此本研究藉由探討美、日於印太區域各自以及共同的發展合作，以及中國應處方式，試圖論述美日同盟未來於印太區域可能的發展方向。

Since the Second World War, the US-Japan alliance has gradually become an important role in the security environment of the Indo-Pacific region. Due to the rise of China, the Indo-Pacific region began to appear in the situation of China opposing the US-Japan alliance. The security environment in the Indo-Pacific region seems to have developed differently from the past, and the surrounding environment is changing faster than usual. Taiwan needs to be more cautious than ever in such an environment. Therefore, this study attempts to discuss the possible future development direction of the US-Japan alliance in the Indo-Pacific region by discussing the respective and common development cooperation between the United States and Japan in the Indo-Pacific region, as well as the way how China deals with US. And Japan’s strategy.
