世界於2019年底首次爆發武漢肺炎(又稱新型冠狀病毒，COVID-19)，該疫情造成全球180多個國家和地區約25萬名確診個案，導致超過1萬名患者死亡，世界衛生組織who正式宣布武漢肺炎疫情進入「全球大流行」，累計確診人數和國家數成指數型增加，恐慌情緒造成全球主要股市、油價及黃金價格皆呈現下降趨勢，該疫情對全球經濟之影響，將超越2008年全球金融海嘯、石油危機及雷曼兄弟，成為有史以來最大之經濟衝擊。
本研究運用個案分析之方式，以國內大型航空業長榮航空及大型飯店業晶華酒店作為探討及研究對象。透過其個案分析，了解疫情對該產業之重大影響及凸顯各產業之經營困境。在經過其財務分析及企業結構探討後，本研究認為，在疫情未能有效控制下，短期內不管是在航空業及旅館業，透過政府的政策補助，相關產業確實能維持正常營運狀態，倘若疫情持續延燒，在營收持續低迷且在財務成本龐大的負擔下，對公司未來之永續發展將會是重大關卡。

At the end of 2019 the world's had its first outbreak of Wuhan pneumonia (also known as the new coronavirus, COVID-19) , which caused about 250,000 confirmed cases in more than 180 countries and regions around the world, also resulting in the death of more than 10,000 patients.  World Health Organization officially declared the new coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak as a "global pandemic", as the resoult of the sudden incresed number of confirmed cases and the number of countries around the world.   
Shear panic hit world's major stock markets, oil prices and gold prices resulting in downward of trending, this impact of the outbreak on the global economy surpass the 2008 global financial tsunami, the oil crisis and Lehman Brothers as the biggest economic shock ever.

This study uses the method of case analysis to explore and study the large-scale aviation industry such as Evergreen and the large-scale hotel industry such as Jinghua Hotel as the targated research company. Through analysis on each case, we can understand the significant impact on the outbreak in the industry and difficulties in operational of various industries. After its financial analysis and enterprise structure discussion.
The study believes that, in the outbreak has not been effectively controlled, in the short term, whether in the aviation industry or in hotel industry, through government policy subsidies, the relevant industries can indeed maintain a normal state of operation for now, but if the epidemic continues to burn, in the continued low revenue and in the financial cost of the burden, the future sustainable development of the company will be a major barrier.
